Thanks for that link. I didn't know a previous topic had been started. After reading through those posts it looks like I may pass on this game. I think fighting monsters in a RPG is great, But to have an action slash RPG isn't so great. I also didn't know Stormfront made the game. POR2 was about the worst example of a finished game I ever heard of. There were reports when the game first game out that it would delete the contents of your hard drive. True or not I don't know.
I guess I will never understand the rationale of shipping a game without really testing it first. If recouping the investment is the goal you would think the investment group would want the most return on the product they could get. All they got for this game was zero. The bad press kept most gamers away from this game. Stormfront carries with it a bad rep for what they did in POR. Gamers lose, Stormfront loses, investors lose/ What is the sense in it all?
