This is a second-hand opinion, but my brother really likes it. It seems to have really cool features that let you play with people you've met and know and consistently be allied with them if that's your choice, say, in Halo 2.
Also, since everyone's on a fast connection, lag isn't as much of a factor as it is on PC.
