Hi you guys and gals,

I've spent a 'few' days and hours playing BG2, and love it!!!
I know it's going to take months, but I want to complete it.

Now I have a problem... all of a sudden the interface has started having problems.. when I select a character, I can't cast his/her spells (I don't get to the spells, when I click the spells button)...

And likewise when I choose Yoshimo or another thief and click on 'detect traps', it just says 'stopped detecting traps' ... and a faulty 'thieving' piece of graphic follows the cursor around on the screen.

I'm not able to use characters special abilities and more of the same kind of errors! (this should change the difficulty of the game to Impossible

I uninstalled the game and did a full install... I kept the saves and character files, but everything else (in the game-dir) was removed... but the problem persists... even when I started a new game (which I really don't want to... but am willing to if there is no other way)

Could this be a driver problem of some sort? It should be mentioned that I use W2000 and have reinstalled the operating system since I last played BG2, so I guess it could very well be related to that, but I just don't know specifically what is wrong, because everything else works like it used to.

Any kind of advice is heartily welcomed! Thank you very much!
