i think it actually does open something. Not sure what, though.

Also, the majority of the undead or not in the game appear depending on level. Bone golems turn into liches, Shadows turn into Mummies turn into Greater Mummies, and Iron golems turn into Adamantite golems at various levels. If you go to the dungeon at low levels, there will only be a few vampires, some shadows, and a vampiric mist or two. At level 15 or so, then it will be filled with vamps, crimson deaths, mummies, and the Iron Golem in the beginning of the second floor will turn adamantite. Wolfweres will also become Greater Wolfweres, which can be unkillable with a certain bug in the game. So watch out!
