Father Bronze,

Sazerac's method is a good one. In Netscape you can use filters... takes a little planning but set up folders for things you WANT then filter that mail to the appropriate folders and all else to a misc one...that you dump things from periodically...also if you get tons of junk from same place..send to trash directly!
