For those of you that know my 'personal' story, I just wanted to update a little.
For the past two or so months my wife and I have been working on rebuilding our marriage. It has been going very well and we had talked about buying a house and moving in together again at the end of July (when both our leases are up
)
She graduated from MBA school and got a great job at one of the top consulting firms in the country (and internationally). Well they called her last week and basically told her if she wants to keep the job (she hasn't even started yet, but did sign a 'contract') she will have to move to Chicago! So now we are again going through the 'stay together/seperate' discussion. I do not want to move to Chicago, at least not right away, and there is nothing she can do if she wants to stay with this firm. Our careers are very important to us and I guess we always knew b/c of this we may have to make some difficult 'relationship' decisions, but the timing could not be any worse!
Just wanted to share this little update! I am off now for a weekend of construction fun at my parents cabin, that btw has to be cut short for our system conversion at work (don't even ask why they are doing the conversion over Memorial day weekend
