Throwing knives is not so bad!
Not a pocketknife though...get a larger one that is well balanced.
Forget the styrofoam box too, use a wooden board and draw a variety of different sized targets on it so that you can work at being an accurate knife-thrower.
For bigger kicks, use a hatchet and a dead tree!
I used to play knife throwing games with my older brother when we were bored teenagers. I'd practice, he wouldn't, which would make the game more dangerous for me. He quit first though and refused to ever play with me again the day I told him I was going to take a slice off of his tennis shoe and did.

He claimed
