Dramnek,
Prayer and following his commandments are ways to get closer to God and to feel his presence. That is how we attempt our individual relationships with God. And using he ? LOL you have any other pronouns you care to use, feel free. I prefer He, but that's my personal preference based on my religious education.
Ok, I'm not here to convert you, so relax. You obviously have your mind made up and the matter quite closed to any new interpretations, so I'll not argue all of eternity with you!
