No No Adrew!!
It works like this, stumping is only when gainging that skill point, for example:
Your a fighter, your alright in fighting, but like amgic, so you decide to study some, and put up a training point. This will stump the abilties of your fighter, when gaing that first training point. So you may not be able to wear armour while study for that mage point, but ocne you have it, armour wearablity returns with the spells too!!
If you a mage, you would lack you abilites of being mage so as to learn the blade. So, your mage skills might falter at first, but ocne you know the blade, you can grow in both.
I did think about droping classes, but then, a soldier in the real world is still a soldier, and a artist is the real world is still an artist, even if the artist can gut a terrorist, and the soldier cna paint a painting. Its the skill yuor msot famillair with, and will be able to extend the most in.
War-Mages that came from fighters, are called Mage-Knights, they still share magic and fightign abilites the way the War-Mage does, but are more familliar with fighting tactics.
Shadowpup, good Idea. I can make swords still avaiable for mages, but it costs soem skill points in fighting to be good at it, as with the fighter, it would only take maybe one, but a few point to be good at magic.
Great idea.
