Theres a chest near the entrance to the theatre, and several tables upstairs in the inn 
Card- AFAIK, it happens in all strongholds that when you claim ownership, it resets all storage to empty. Thus, you need to clear it out completely of anything you want before you claim it. This includes things which you didn`t put there.
