I'll let you into my theory about this. In 1977 Virginia Wade won the women's singles at Wimbledon. 1977 was the year that the Queen celebrated her Silver Jubilee having reigned for 25 years. That was 25 years ago and this year the Queen celebrates her Golden Jubilee. I think this is some kind of omen and fully expect Tim Henman to win the men's singles this year.
