I think the problem isnot being ableto get things on a level of their interest, which could come from the parenting, or sometimes the teachers.
Now I'm certainly not booing all teachers, many are very good, and many can get the interest there and teach brilliantly, but some teachers, they might be the very best in their field, but they just can't teach,there's a big difference, they can't seem to grasp how the child doesn't understand or isn't interested when they don't impart the knowledge well at all, and do it in a boring fashion.

When I was growing up my dad had a sure fire method of curing my ADD....He smacked me up side the head then told me what he wanted ...this had the effect of getting my attention first then focusing my thoughts [img]smile.gif[/img]
