Only (bad) injury I've ever had really was from when I jumped off the couch playing super man and split my chin. I shoulda known better, I mean I was 14 years old. Hehe, j/k. I was actually about 3 or 4 from what I'm told.
The only odd thing to it, was that it's never healed right even after multiple times being stitched up. Although I don't want to jinx it, I haven't had trouble out of it in about 8 years. The last time I did, I was 17 years old, playing some game in the arcade. This guy comes up, and says: "Dude, do you know you're bleeding?" So I stop long enough to pay attention, and sure enough, puddle of my own blood all over the joystick and buttons.
It's peculiar, I don't have any feeling in the spot where it split, so when it bursts back open, I never know it until I see/feel the blood.
And since that was pretty weak compared to everyone elses 'scar' stories, I'd just like to say that it really happened when I was wrestling rabid wolverines that year I did charity work in Asia.

You know, my sister fell onto the floor once when we were playing around on the furniture and cut her chin to the bone.
The Dr. who stitched it up put a metal wire in behind the stitches "to keep it from re-opening after it heals".
The wire was taken out with the stitches or some time after, it was so long ago I forget.
We all thought it was strange but it worked...nearly forty years later, the cut has never re-opened. You might want to inquire about that next time you have to have yours sewn up, after all, the Dr doing it for you is only making more money every time you have to come in and there is (as mentioned above) a permanent fix to that type of cut!

Ticks me off that Dr's and Dentists do crap like that just to keep bleeding people's wallets. I edited my post on page two to add a couple of injuries I had forgotten about until I read yours...Dentists today use a really cheap-o type of bonding that falls out after 6 months or a year for that same reason...its wrong and I fell really lucky that when I did have to have my teeth bonded that it was in a day and age when professionals really cared if they never had to see you again.
