This is what I'm talking about. A conclusion is drawn from analysis of available data. If my data differs from yours, then we will reach differing conclusions.

It is illogical to suggest, that one who has reached a differing conclusion is illogical or making an emotive judgement, simply because it does not agree with yours. That is insultingly offensive, and makes dialogue - comparison of data - impossible.

A closed mind.

An open mind is one that accepts there are things which they may not yet know. That respects another's conclusion despite disagreeing with it.

I don't agree with G'kar or Absynthe or Silver Cheetah's conclusions about the way the world is. However, I can see their logic.

I don't agree with Moiraines conclusions (an athiest) but I can see her logic.

I don't agree with your conclusions, BUT I CAN SEE YOUR LOGIC. The point of discussion, would normally be to present ones point of view. Exchange perception, so you can experience the data without living it.

Collective knowledge.

Can you not see this simple truth Dramnek? My experiences are vastly different from yours. The way I'm reaching a conclusion is not so dissimilar. Logic has nothing to do with it, only information.

I know I have a soul. My soul, and my God, are more real to me than you are. Pure and simple.
