Thanks for the link. I'll dig into once I have time to read those "one or two" examples.

The "dictator" thing should have been stated different -- as it wasn't intended as a red herring but rather an aside.

I think Bush and Blair both would be much better off if they had tried to sell the war on more than the WoMD issue. It's funny, because I felt the exact opposite of the way you seem to: I felt Blair had been smart enough to sell the other aspects of the war and it was Bush who had made the mistake of focusing too much on the WoMD.

But, back to my aside... no one argues that getting Saddam out was a bad thing.
