Timber, have you used this service yourself? I only ask because a few things at this site in the fine print made me a little uneasy.Like them being a third party that sells these products rather than being one of the "big three",That in the fine print you are actually authorizing them to purchase your credit info, you are automatically inroled into a membership you must cancel to not be charged for.And the thing that most made me uneasy was this section of thier privacy policy (which was diffucult to find).
"TRANSFERABILITY OF INFORMATION
In the event we go through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or portion of our assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified by means of notice on our Sites for thirty (30) days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information. For more information, please refer to the section labeled "Privacy Notice Changes," below."
To me this seems to say they can sell your info and unless you happened to check thier site for notifacation within that 30 day window you might never know.
Like I said I just felt a little uneasy because of these things so was curious if you have used them before.
Here is a link directly to equifax that might be usefull as well.
