I know this is not the kind of post Larry wants to see here. Poor Larry. But, I hope he has enough of an answer to his question now, that we can say some things that need to be said. If not, then smack me down as need be. Whatever, I care not.
Where my government is concerned, I have some control over whether or not they disallow guns. I think my government sucks in all aspects, and they are probably lucky that the socialist regime that exists in Chicago keeps guns away from law-abiding Chicagoans like meeself. I'm the kinda guy who wants to kill terrorists who damage/threaten my government, but am happy to support those US groups that would oppose it. The government sucks, and needs to be revamped -- at gunpoint if necessary.
But, where other nations are concerned, the are free to take my guns, bow, and sword. But only after my last round is expended, only after my last Razorback arrow is fired, and only after I have swung my last sword. If other nations don't understand that weapon ownership is an integral part of freedom, then they can go home and sulk in their own socialist regimes, and kiss my big fat glow in the dark ass.
