I'D, you can accept the world as it is and try to change it incrementally or you can do as the GLBT did and try to brute force your way through the issue al at once in one go...in every case the majority will squash ya. You, well they not you in particular can cry about how unfair real life is and how mean those majority people are...but at the end of they day, where did it get you. I suppose no one ever told the GLBT (whatever that actually stands for) that you catch far more flies with honey than you do with vinnegar.
Reality...deal with it...or it WILL kill you.
Edit: and just in case you are wondering just how homophobic this crusty old coot is, I support civil unions and vote against gay "marriage". To me the Term Marriage holds a significant meaning to my culture and my religion and since I am a very firm believer in the meaning of words....I support Civil Unions or any horse of a similar color...as long as it isn't called "Marriage".
Call it a semantics issue...but it is an important one to me.
