The American economy, and relative value of the American dollar, is not determined by what happens in the USA. If you don't lift a finger to help a country in danger, and don't send a dollar to aid relief efforts, noone will want to trade with you. Every country in this world survives on trade. When a major part of any country's trade stops, their economy will begin to fail. If no country wants to trade with you, what I wonder will happen then?
