Well, there are a few dozen of nuclear bombs still stocked in an airport base here in the Netherlands (Volkel). In times of peace they are guarded by the 752 munitions support squadron of the USAF, and in a time of war they will be equipped by the F-16's from the 311th and 312th squadron of the Dutch airforce. And i assume there are several other depots like that across western Europe.
