I would kill him. He was instrumental in the death of many and he deserves to die. I'd make sure that I'd make it painless as I don't believe in human sufferance.

However, I don't think that it will acheive anything but to remove him from the equation.

About the killing Hitler, no, I would not kill him as a young man, I would just make sure he got into art school as he wanted. That's where is hatred for the Jews started.

So, if we had to go back in time with Bin Ladden, I would not kill him. I would just make sure that the US didn't put bases in Saudi Arabia and they the US had a more logical involvement in the Middle East following the Cold War.

Today, Bin Ladden is a problem that must be removed. 20 years ago, we created the problem.

EDIT: People must keep in mind the the true ennemy (except for ourself) is the Terrorist, not the people that are with them. The Taliban is not an ennemy. Bush as IDed them as such because they are an objective of success that can be quantified in a war. But they are not the Ennemy.
