I just heard some more news on this. The truck he used as a weapon was a rental...rented that morning for the sole purpose of hoping that this SUV would do the most damage to a group of 17 people. Nine were injured, 1 moreso than the rest.
Also, there is a debate going on whether or not this should be classified as "terrorism". Some people say that its just attempted murder because he does not namely belong to a group that is known for terroristic acts, but by definition and the reason he did this says that he does fit the bill.
