DISABLE MOVIES=1

then restart the game. You'll miss the movies, but so many of them are just eye candy anyway.

Sazerac, does that work in BG1 as well? I'm playing on a corrupted set of discs right now (I mailed my retail set to a friend in California), and the Gnoll Stronghold movie never fails to crash my game.[/QUOTE]Unfortunately, no it doesn't. Bioware didn't allow you to skip the stupid cut-scene videos in BG1. And my game always crashed at that point, so I'm not so sure it's the disks.

I think there's a workaround for that, but I've forgotten what it is. I know I just recently saw one. Possibly at the BG1 forum here? Anyway, if I find it, I'll post it for you.
