LOL! OMG! You actually reminded me of a time (about 12 years ago as a matter of fact! I wonder if it was the same night?!) when I discovered that wine coolers didn't have the burning effect that alcohol normally has on my damaged kidney and I proceeded to get completely schnookered at a bar across town.
I remember leaving!
About forty miles away from the bar, I kind of "came to" in front of my front door with the house key in my hand. I looked back and then walked back to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing out in the parking lot....my truck...in its parking space...positioned perfectly between the lines....windows rolled up and locked up tight.
You're right, incidents like those are definitely wake-up calls!
Also, I woke up
so sick the next day, if I never drink again, it won't hurt me a bit!
