I have, Dizzy. (You do know that Charaen and i live together, don't you? That's her in the link in my sig. )

I'm not a big fan of Bijan's writings, but I do agree with some of his stuff.
Quote:
Bijan believes...we project our own feelings of guilt and fear onto others.

< snip >

Yet at the same time, ego will convince us that we need to get rid of our guilt—and we do this by projection. Once we understand this, we realize that everyone is our mirror. Whatever we see in others is what we have first seen inside ourselves. As we learn to see this as our own guilt being projected out and not theirs, we are able to forgive them. By loving and forgiving them, we are loving and forgiving ourselves and healing our own minds.
I agree with this. I also believe it explains a major reason we argue with others so often. Many times, we believe others will act the way we would in a situation, so we preconceive their actions, and immediately prepare our response. The anger we feel is there before the other person has had a chance to say anything.
I also agree that...
Quote:
...we must first decide to make peace our ultimate goal.
I think a lot of cases of depression, anxiety, fear, and pain come from the lack of inner peace in our lives.

The difference is, I think that we need to work towards inner peace, that we need to align our actions with our beliefs in order to have a credible right to it.

Besides that, I don't believe that prosperity is "effortless". I believe it takes work, a good attitude, and a lot of growth.
