LOL, Saz, I don't know if you ever looked at the old (60's) comic book, The Fabulous, Furry, Freak Brothers? There was a recurrent subplot about "Kommander Kockroach and his Roach Reich," and he was always sending out his roaches to do things, mainly stealing food. Fat Freddy's Cat would always kill them, and an aide would ask the Kommander if they should get a medal, sound taps, etc., and the Kommander's reply was always, "Nah, there's plenty more where they came from."
