Hey all!
Havent been on here for about a week now, been busy with college, and my Panasonic Gamecube Yep after 3 weeks of haggling and £370 I finally bought my 'Q Sysytem'. Got US version of Super Mario Sunshine as my first game and its great! if anyone played MArio64 then you have a basic idea of what its like, same kinda style game, beautiful grpahics (the reflective light from mirrors and the water especially), its not hard to complete it with the minimum number of Shines needed but to get em all is a task indeed.
Q System itself is even more gorgeous in real than any photo you see can portray, especially when the lights are out and the blue glow from the ports and buttons seems to encompass the entire console in a blue nimbus of light, it really is great and well worth the money. Can play JAP and USA Gamecube games (no PAL as of yet, but freeloader CD is coming out soon enabling you to) can play all region DVD's, VCD's, SVCD's and MP3 Cd's.
Panasonic labelled joypads give it a little something extra too.
All in all having owned every home console since the Gameboy (iim only 17 but my parents got me into gaming pretty much straight away with the Atari ST) I can honestly say that this is my favourite console so far, I havent tried all the games yet but am looking forward to!
