While you are checking out the link...
There are things that you need to do first:
1. Download you CD-ROM's DOS driver
2. Edit the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files
CONFIG.SYS
- Add this line to the sample that I gave: (from the post in the link)
Device=C:\CDROM\CDROM.SYS /D:MSCD000
Note1: please substitute C:\CDROM\CDROM.SYS with the correct path and driver.
Note2: If /D:MSCD000 don't work, try /D:MSCD001
AUTOEXEC.BAT
-Add this line to the sample that I gave: (from the post in the link)
LH C:\Windows\Command\MSCDEX.EXE /D:MSCD000
Note1: The file MSCDEX.EXE is usually located in the C:\Windows\Command folder/directory
Note2: The device ID /D:MSCD000 must be the same as the one stated in the CONFIG.SYS; which means if you set the ID as /D:MSCD001 in the CONFIG.SYS, then you will need to specified the ID as /D:MSCD001 in the AUTOEXEC.BAT
