I read on another forum that the victim was Lana Clarkson, but I've not been able to verify. If so, she starred in Deathstalker(1984) and Barbarian Queen(1992) among others. This caught me by surprise as well. Even more sad.

It does not say if she is the person I think she is, but the age does fit since she was born in 1962.
