be innovative, do the unexpected, question everything, don't piss off the DM, or get too cocky in front of the DM. Think like your character would regardless if that is how YOU yourself would go about doing things. Don't get too greedy. Don't be too reckless, you can't rest in the middle of a dungeon like in BG. Try to avoid confrontation if at all possible. Make sure you have a theif and a healer. Have fun.
