Sorry guys, that's right. The Leather Armour +3 is the Shadow Armour. You buy it from the smith in Beregost I think. It's one of those items that you cannot afford for an absolute age, then wonder why you didn't buy it sooner as the money starts rolling in.

GameBanshee lists the following information on armour:

Leather Armour +2 (Outdoor Zone (AR5000) - Loot from Maneira)
Studded Leather Armour +2 (Outdoor Zone (AR5300) - Loot from Sendai)

If my memory serves me correctly, they can be found on a bunch of female bandits east of Beregost (or around that region). Sorry I can't be more specific, but I hope the location numbers help.

BTW The Full Plate Mail +1 can be found on Tamoko in the Undercity.
