I've played the whole BG series through Throne of Bhaal and am now in IWD1 (got the IWD1/HoW collection).

I like IWD1 a lot but had some questions about IWD2...

1. One of the aspects of the BG series that I really liked was that I could take the group of characters that I'd been playing through the whole series. Can you import your characters from IWD1 to HoW and IWD2? (Heard this wasn't the case...)

2. If you start from scratch in IWD2, what level do you start at? Subsequently how high can you go in IWD2?

3. Are there special high level abilities in IWD2? ToB had those, very cool!

4. Lastly (for now) what did you think of IWD2 in comparison to IWD1/HoW and the BG series.
