I also cannot wait... For the first time, I'm completely caught up with the show. I had been watching the DVDs until this point. I've been a fan of J.J.'s work since Alias, and I took to Lost quite easily.

Now, I must confess that I'm usually very good at picking up on what's going on, but I totally didn't see the flash-forward thing coming! I had this vague sense of "This is wrong... we've seen Jack as an alcoholic, but not as a drug addict, and I do not recall him having that kind of facial hair" but I've found myself caring less and less about Jack as the show progressed, which may have something to do with my not figuring this out until we were flat-out told about it. I'm intrigued by something, though... Jack told the head of surgery to bring his father down, and see who's drunker. I had forgotten about the whole "Jack sees his father on the island" plotline, thinking it abandoned- is he alive on the island somewhere? How has he avoided the Oceanic camp, the Others, and Danielle all this time, yet managed to survive? I am intrigued! I can't wait for it to start again.
