Yeah, I was the group "Death Master" way back when. The guys STILL give me grief about that one. Hey they never asked if there was a gong in the room!! Actually I was trying to teach them to "look around" when they entered a space, and that you can't see every thing from the door. After that incident, I placed gongs in every dungeon, and they would ask if there were any gongs in the room! Whenever I said yes, the Cleric would cast Silence 15' radius centered on the gong!! Har! Was that the problem with the shop being empty, it being night?
