Which types of music do you like? And why?
I enjoy house and classical. It might seem stupid but classical music relaxes me without being too emotionally involved in the music I here, (and consequently I don't have a headache afterwards.

i like quite a variety of stuff, and yet i'm still kind of picky.

let me list bands, to give you an idea...i find it hard to 'classify' music without getting the lines a little blurred anyway (good music, at least).

Pixies, radiohead, iron butterfly, jefferson airplane, Royal Trux, led zeppelin, nirvana, *hendrix*, sonic youth, velvet underground, alice in chains, frank black & the catholics, the Doors, my bloody valentine, melvins, dinosaur jr., the beatles, al green, boss hog, canned heat, grateful dead, quicksilver messenger service, charlie parker, john coltrane, miles davis, thelonius monk, dj dieselboy, aphex twin, dj shadow, dj food, medeski martin & wood, juggling suns, the breeders, smashing pumpkins (older stuff up through siamese dream), dick dale & the deltones, man or astroman?, impala, the lively ones, L7, mudhoney, babes in toyland, bob dylan, portishead, fleetwood mac (old school w/ peter green only!), beck, rage against the machine, pavement, weezer, 13th floor elevators, bob marley, j mascis & the fog, big brother & the holding company, the ordinary way, stone temple pilots (first 2 albums) jeeeeez i think my head is going to ExPLoDE. ehhh, i'm only human people, there's a lot i left out but i'm trying to actually get out tonight.
i guess my musical taste can be pretty well encapsulated in a few little smiley faces......
well, not really encapsulated, but kind of amusing nonetheless.

Well I like all sorts of music, probably lean more towards rock music. Since we are on the subject of music, I must ask the question, has anyone out there heard of the rock band "Warrior Soul"? Is a band that mainly made songs in the mid 90's. I have only known ONE person in my life that has known this band, and he was the one who introduced them to me. So just curious if anyone, again, knows of this band? Kory Clark has an incredible voice range, and the band rocks with a great powerful beat along with guitars, and the words to the songs are very deep. Even if Warrior Soul never makes another CD again, which unfortunately is likely, they will always remain a favorite of mine

I remember Warrior Soul!! They had a few good songs. I used to watch them on headbangers ball. Used to always play their video.

I listen to everything except country... My favorites
are Disturbed, Kittie, Taproot, System of a Down, Tool..

Two years ago in Dallas, we had backstage passes for Ozfest.
Taproot, Kittie, Disturbed, and someone else. One of my
buddies that went to Univ. of North Texas knows Phil Lipscomb's
(bass player for Taproot) brother real well. Phil got us some
backstage passes for the second stage where they were playing.
I was standing backstage for about five minutes before I realized
that Morgan Lander and Talena Atfield (Kittie) were standing right
next to me. I have some cool pictures of all the bands that played
on second stage.

Mitro...i kind of dug SOAD first album. i don't know if i really dig their shift in sound on the new album...especially that song "chop suey!"...it's start of all badass and heavy, and then melts into that cheeseball mellow part (don't get me wrong, nothing wrong w/ dynamics and loud/mellow stuff, but it sounds really contrived to me...as if they were trying to hard to be dynamic.)
just a thought.
