well....im plannin to make a new char.....but i have gotten bored of most kit i have played already......i have played the blade(bard kit) before and it seemed pretty weak so i stop playin that kit.....well today i was readin this post about a blade and it made me have this urge in playin that kit....but i dont know if i should play as a blade or a skald.....and what should the stats look like for a bard kit.....and can anyone tell me whats their highest pickpocketin skill lvl is

I imported a bard from BG1 and made her into Blade. She is 10th level now and has about 120 in PickPocketing. Quite enough, IMO.

You should concentrate on CHA and DEX... it's been a long time since i used a bard but i think they use charisma as thier spell casting thingy..hehe... you should have max DEX and if you want to use your Bard as a fighter, have your STR maxxed... that is all i know about a bard, but i really doubt it will be sufficient enough for you...

well thx for kinda helpin but i need a little bit more info....i have read a site that Sir Exxon mentioned on another topic.....i have decided to make a blade....this is the stats of the blade i made

int 15
wis 10
cha 18

***two weapon style

can blades specialize in any weapons or can they only be proficient.....?

im plannin to duel weild hindo's doom+3(can get upgraded by cespeanar) and the celestial fury+3

and a question of curiosity....is there any armor that is not elven crafted that still allows spell castin for blades?

Nopey, not in 2E (the BG framework). You're thinking 3E.
