Remember last week when I had trouble installing the xp cap removers, but then decided i would stay at lvl 40 so the game remains challenging?.
Well now, I have proceeded to uninstall both the xp cap removers from baldurdash(teambg) and Ease of Use. But my game still thinks they are installed, so I gain xp. I have heard of some bugs that arise when baldurdash is combined with other mods, so maybe this has something to do with it. I think i'm just gonna go ahead and backup my saved game, uninstall bg2 then reinstall. ive messed around with the mods enough that the data files for the game must be in shambles, and it would probably do good to restart. My question is this though: once reinstall SoA, then reinstall my mods, will the game pick up perfectly where it left off, without any loss of Item Upgrade special items? Im'm concerned that it might screw up the location or my possesion of these special items that are not in the original game. [ 05-15-2003, 09:28 PM: Message edited by: Lord Smite ] |

Why not just reinstall SoA, patch and Baldurdash it, then just reinstall all the mods except for the cap remover? Unless you're playing with the Tactics mods, you run into the experience cap too near the end of the game for a cap popper to be of any use. (Another half attack per round, or lore point(s), or a 9th level spell slot to memorize just one of those lovely spells. Whee.)
