What's different?

I asked this in another thread, but it seems no one saw it. So my question is, what is different from SoA to ToB? anything I should be wary of? Thanks!

Well in ToB your romances continuoe,you get High Level Abilities(HLA) for every class specifisc. Also there is more hack and slash(IMHO) and one big dungeon/quest and that is Watcher`s Keep.

Many new items and monsters as well. Plus you find out the fate of your favorite litte Bhaal Spawn

And, most importantly, you can now hit the TAB-key to highlight all containers and doors! Woot! No more agonizing searches for containers!

But this is still complete Power Gaming. I personally rarely use it, but only if I've killed a bunch of guys in a place (like the siege camp) and need to sort out where everything is.

Of course it's powergaming, but Throne of Bhaal is nothing but powergaming. Is it justifyable that +3 weapons are everywhere in the game? This is not only making it ridiculous that Athkatla hasn't been conquered yet by people from the south, but also that the main character can become a millionair from just selling items he or she has found.

It gets to the point where you start PASSING UP +3 weapons and elven chainmail... Sendai's Lair. (That isn't a spoiler, is it? How could it be?)

ToB is every powergamer`s wet dream. Almost every weapon is WK is +3,+4,+5 or it can be upgraded to +4,+5,+6... really powerful weapons. But you need them for the Final Battle. Only sad thing is that you have the chance to enjoy the full power of Flail Of The Ages +5 in 0.003 % of the game. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
