How to assemble items? And what is that dwarf doing!!?

I have gathered quite a few (but not all) items that are apparently meant to be put together, but it seems to me that Cespenar doesn't have recopes for all of them, so is there anywhere else to get those items made? And what in the nine hells is that

dwarf doing in Amkathran (sorry 'bout the spelling)? He seems like a kind of Cromwell-type, but he doesn't want to let me in on his little secret! How to make him talk?

Bring him Bronze Pantalettes and Golden Pantaloons and Silver Pantaloons and he will make a huge suit of armor that makes your character look like an Golem! Thats all he does. Hes no Cromwell.

Cespenar is basically the only place for you to have items made/upgraded.

The dwarf is hiding quite a secret indeed...wanna be spoiled?

i missed the silver pantaloons in bg1, so what are the cluaconsole cheats for creating the silver and golden pantaloons? i'd like to try the suit of armor out, tho i may not use them at all.

its usable by all clasess and has -10 armor class.
