The Bhaal spawn saga was finished with ToB. Trying to take it any farther would be too much.

A spinnoff might be posible, but I think that would really run the risk of tarnishing a great set of games.

If they dared make a spinoff I would rant on and on and on about how it's a sacrilage.. Come on, I defy anyone to name at least three successful spinoffs. I admit that there's potential, but that's why we have fanfiction sites.

How do you figure? Just because it takes place in the FR? I didn't get NWN yet myself, so I have no idea... ::shakes head sadly:: If only everyone just didn't buy it at that ridiculous price, they would have no choice to bring it down.. But no.. Unite, my friends! Are we gonna take this any more? ::looks around and hears cricket noises and a cough:: Right.... Ok then, I guess that's a yes.

There is a fantasy sword and sorcery book about a band of Mercenaries for hire called The Black Company. As I remember, it was series of short stories set in a battle field environment. I think an RPG based on this type of story line would be extremely interesting and potentially more diverse than the Baal series.
