Is there more than one book in the dungeons? My conversation with Ulcaster made it sound so, but I can only find the one "Darkness" something

The book that you're looking for is in the big 'pile' in the centre on the dungeun - just after you fought the vampiric wolf.

Huge pile of stuff although you can give him some other things to get the Vampire Sword (I think that is the name) but that is a different spoiler altogether.

Yes, that is indeed a different spoiler. How about a big, fat SPOILER tag next time? Like this:

Take it easy Six we all make mistakes once in awhile. (Mine being chewing people out a bit too often.) Anyways he didn't really spoil too much.

I mean for the most part a sword that hurts the user and heals the target is next to useless unless you work out some crackpot strategy to sacrifice a player for healing purposes.

That's okay. Maybe I was in a bad mood when I read your post--actually, I just hate the Vampire's Revenge and everything connected with it. There is no foreshadowing to that quest, it has no purpose, Ulcaster doesn't even say anything about the sword when he gives it to you, you have to go AGAINST roleplay to get an item for it....the ONLY part of this quest that actually exists is that it can be done, and the ONLY way to find out that it can be done is to hack into the game with IEEP. It's a hacker's quest that produces a hacker's item for morons, and I hate the damn thing.

Once you get that stupid thing, wouldn't it be great if you could:
Have your thief sneak into some big, bad, boss's tent and replace his +10 main character slayer sword, with this sword? Then when you go to fight him, he reaches for his trusty main character slayer and pulls out.... Now THAT would be a great trick.

P.S. By the way Krep...Not a bad idea for what to do with it.
