Is there a way to have a PC or NPC use two weapons (dex +18 of course)? How??????

'Fraid not in BG. You can in BG2 - where it's a separate skill and you have to reassign your proficiency points if you carry your character over.

Rangers do have a "two" weapon attack, but it means you get an extra attack if you have them use a one-handed weapon e.g. longsword, mace etc. Of course, you lose the advantage of a shield, but it all depends on what you want.

I didn't know about the ranger exception in BG1...Which do you prefer to do Lord Brass??? SHield or extra attack?
