Well its not really a spoiler, more of a time saver. When you go downstairs and see Marrok save your game. He'll upgrade alright, he upgraded my great sword so much I couldnt use it for another level! LOL I thought it was pretty funny. I had to go back to an old save so I could still use my sword for the next 5000 exp points! Just a little tip-the games rocks though!

Ugh.
If only I had read this before upgrading my scimitar... I am level 6 and have to wait until level 8 to use it. I had to go buy a regular, non-magical one to replace it.

I cannot figure out how to upgrade my stuff? What in the heck do I need to upgrade? I've got adamanitite and all sorts of other thingies but no upgrade. I'm stuck (ha, stuck!) with two +1 short swords.

You have to un-equip your swords to your backpack if you hadnt done that.

plus you can only have one type of each sword. I tried to get two of the longswords done after he made the first he refused to do the second one. So i went with a rapier in my off hand
