Alot of the time people turn to forums to vent something...bitching about the fact that XXX game sux or XXX game won't work etc. and I know I am one of these people when I want to be
Because you see, when everything is working fine and looking good we are too involved in the game to even think about surfing the web and actually dropping a line to say 'Hey this game is GREAT'.

Well i'm doing it now just to add a twist, as i feel it's well due. This game truly is awesome, everything about it..the engine, the system, and the graphics....wow...I could never go back to the 2D Infinity Engine after NWN's...just seeing the sheer visual drama of casting a simple spell is amazing, they really did a good job.
The irony is I was really doubtful about buying this game originally as i'd heard mixed reviews, some really good and some really bad - i'm so glad I did though

The Mper aspect is the biggest plus. I've just recently began to play it online but you know what? I have yet to stop. The fan-created stuff such as hak-packs etc. are very cool, right up there with the pros.

I agree. The concept of NWN makes itthe best game ever. The custom mods provide endless quests/maps for your money, and the MP is a great way to waste an entire day. I often sacrifice sleep to stay up and play this game. This engine will only get better, and Im glad I ignored the nay-sayers when I decided to purchase it.

You are right. NWN is a fine game, well above average. Though I still hope Black Isle/Bioware will release another 2D (II?) RPG(preferable in the trend of Planescape Torment or Baldurs Gate) someday.
