First of all, I'd like to say how much I've enjoyed this server and module. I just started playing on it within the last week, mostly with my little halfling rogue Felto. I've had fun with the module and enjoyable interactions with the other characters.

I do have a question about an item I found. It's a short sword, I can't remember the full name, but the beginning of the name has the word "set" in lower case. Does this mean something? Is this a special item for this module? It is a fantastic item for this particular character, so I'm curious about it. Are items like that fixed features of the modules (once it's been reset)?

Anyway, my thanks to Ziroc and everyone else involved in this project! I'm enjoying it a lot and I haven't been in very deep yet!

Welcome to the Ironworks, Jay_Ahr
Enjoy your stay, and be sure to check out some of the other forums.

You'll probably have noticed that there are quite a lot of custom items in the Undermountain module. Some of them are quite common, but others are not as easy to get your hands on. I don't think I've found a [set] shortsword yet, but I did find the shadow thieves dagger. I have also seen armour and boots from the same set lying about, and there are probably even more pieces to it I've yet to discover.
Getting them all together would be tough, mostly because the boots are most cruelly placed just out of reach. But perhaps extra bonusses have been scripted for characters who do manage to get and equip the whole set, who knows? Apart from Z, of course.
Aside from [set] items, there are also items labled [unique]. These can be found only in one place in the module, where some of the [set] items may appear more often. Both types of item are usually found in predetermined locations.

Cool. No, I hadn't noticed that there are a lot of custom items in the module, I just hadn't played enough yet. So it sounds like my character can enjoy searching for the rest of that set. That shadow thieves dagger sounds like one to look for also. I think I saw those boots too.

Ah, I think I've found that shortsword of yours. It belongs to a different set once owned by Shawsaw Rimstym. Never noticed that set before and I don't think I would have if it hadn't been for a particularly comfy looking couch.

lol , me thinks legolas has a couch fetish!

heh, I'm gonna make a room called 'Legolass' Couchroom' and it'll be a small room, with 6 nice and plump couches!

Seriously though, I have sprinkled 5 many unique items, set items and 'keen' items throughout Undermountain and other areas. So far, there are 5 set collections (one for each class and then some) and MANY are hidden is out of the way places most people never go to. so go through each level in detail to find the goodies!!
