She just released a new Star Wars book, as well!
I think she is the best writer for Forgotten Realms, then come R.A. Salvatore, then Douglas Niles. IMO.

If you dig through some of the archives of this place, you'll see that I posted some e-mails that she had sent to me when I joined Memnoch on the rampage to fuss about Greenwood.

Can you beleive it? I was e-mailing her! Elaine Cunningham!

In their official book forum shes a regular contributer as well,I saw the emails. Honestly though I hated the wizards of the coast site. Its was far too pro wizards and death to anyone who even thinks of disagreeing. I think you caused an avalanche there though lots of people are speaking out about how awful most of the novels are, well some of them but most toe the line. I myself am not exactly what you would call a fan of the books either, and keeping this strictly to my opinion, disagree at will but I thought the books were mostly complete sludge and I despised salvatore as the single laziest author the world has ever seen who is only encouraged to act like litterary cripple because of the sales a license provides. But hey thats me and I have sky high tastes, seriously. But at the same time cunninghams were the best and most readable FR books, possibly I will read on but there are so many things that intrest me more, currently am reading poetry by Michael Ondaatje and a david mitchell book called ghost writer which is more than just a bit bloody brilliant.

Really?
I have not even been back since Elaine's last e-mail to me!
I didn't know that anybody actually cared!
So, you think we started that? Because I was not alone in that attack!
With the help of Memnoch's posts that I stole(and got chewed out for it ) we shook their foundations, but I didn't know that others followed suit!
Cool!

Oh yeah there have been polls on which books should be burned and which charecter should be mutilitaed hideously, ok perhaps not that bad but you get the idea, anyway there have been an equal amount of people howling criticism pffft pffft, bad, you must conform. The first time I saw someone say salvatore was the same as hemmingway I nearly fainted, do they even know what theyre talking about. Anyway things have been funny, its a slow place anyway.
