... the Drizzt books? I've heard about them, but don't know where to get them.

Any ideas?

if there isn't a bookstore in the area (waldenbooks in most malls (US) or B. Dalton) or a Barnes and Nobles/Hastings/Borders you can get them online, (Barnes and Nobles has a website you can order from, or you could try Amazon.com they have a great selection for reasable prices)

BTW you should delte your double post...

AMAZON I believe that it is world wide delivery. Anyway read the Dark Elf Trilogy or Icewind Dale Trilogy first because if you don't you'd be very very very confused. I made that mistake.

The easiest way to read the series is the way the author wrote them. iam pretty sure that icewind dale is the first series but am not sure the only way one can be sure is to read the publish date.

Icewind Dale is indeed the first series that he wrote and it went off with a big bang. Dark Elf Trilogy was just as good except that it was a prelude of the Icewind Trilogy. Both series are my favorites.

Well, there's gotta be some kind of book store where you live. I'd suggest going there and looking in the fantasy section. You could also always go to your public library and check it out untill you're done with it.

Here's the order of Drizzt's books--

Dark Elf Trilogy - 1.Homeland 2.Exile 3.Sojourn

Icewind Dale Trilogy - 1.Crystal Shard 2.Streams of Silver 3.Halfling's Gem

Legacy of the Drow - 1.The Legacy 2.Starless Night 3.Siege of Darkness 4.Passage of Dawn

Paths of Darkness - 1.Silent Blade 2.Spine of the World 3.Servant of the Shard 4.Sea of Swords

Hunter's Blades Trilogy - 1.Thousand Orcs (current trilogy, book two out October or November of this year)

He wrote Icewind Dale before Dark Elf Trilogy, but DET takes place before IWD. I'd suggest ready DET first. That's what I did and it worked out well. I liked the Icewind Dale trilogy a little better, but it's pretty close, they're both GREAT books.

Hope that helped. =)
