i was recently made aware of a new dungeon craft website- it has some new icons, small pics and walls, with the promise of more to come.
http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/kaltusara_dc/Malcon.htm
you should definitely check it out.

i just got another e-mail from the author of the website. apparently, due to some problems with angelfire and frames, he's changed to a frameless page that has a slightly new address-
http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/kaltusara_dc/index.html
that i wanted to pass on so people wouldn't think that his nice addition to dungeon craft hadn't disappeared.

i predict we are going to see a lot of cool stuff from this guy.

btw, he's added about 40 more icons.

Wow. Those are the best icons I've seen for DC, I think. I especially like the humans, skeletons, kobolds and the fire giant.

I would love to see more templates (that is, more poses and more additions for the existing ones) from Dreamlands because I think they create really great icons. Some "short person" eg halflings, kender, dwarves icons would be good too.

No offence is intended to anyone here - but I don't think I've seen any really good dragon icons. We probably need someone to start afresh as I find the UA dragons are a bit bulky. As I said, no offence intended to anyone who has made/converted the icons so far - God know they're soooo much better than anything I could do.

i think we are all in agreement that these icons are cool. and i like the smallpics and walls as well.

as far as templates go, you should post on the yahoo list, and here of course, letting joerg know you like his and want more. i think he may have felt they were limiting because not everybody owns photoshop, and so couldn't load the .psd files. (his last releases were in .png format.)

as for non-humanoid monsters, personally, i find them very hard to draw, but have been trying to convert a dragon or two. it's kind of a long process for me.

Hello.

I will try to get together some *.psd
files to post.
The icons were made at quite a pace, so
the files will need some sorting out.

Marc.

I am unable to post on the Yahoo list (never have been able to, due to some cookie problem). And quite often I can't post here as it says (wrongly) that I've been banned. Anyway - in case Joerg is reading this: I really like the PSD templates and would love to see more. And I love what katusara has done with those new icons.
