Rapax Castle trouble

Hey - The hidden key hole in the east wall won't accept the King's Apt. Key. What am I doing wrong, or am I in the wrong place?

Second - Is there a way to get into the room with all the treasure chests in it? You can see these chests from bared windows, but I can't find m way in.

Third - Where do you find Al Sedexus after you rock her on the altar. Is she just wandering around the Rift somewhere? If I kill her, will my Rapax NPC skin out on me?

1. The hotspot at the keyhole is very small. Go very near to it and try a few times.

2. You can get some of the treasure via the deposit slips from above, but you cannot enter the room.

3. If you did the quest for Rafe, he told you where you can find her.
If you enter the rift from the Rapax Castle, there's a big door near the teleporter. Thats where she is.

*doh!* answered just a few minutes too late -- oh well..

The tiny key hole is *really* tough to get the key into. Hold the key on your cursor and walk up close to it and fiddle with it a few times, eventually you'll find the right distance and angle.

No you don't get into the room directly, but you can vacuum out the contents...

Al Sedexus should go back to her little temple in the Rift. You may already have encountered her there, but if you didn't, it's the big doors just before entering the Castle Courtyard area. Killing AS does not in intself cause problems with the rapax, but she summons rapax templars to help her -- if you kill them your faction rating will plummet. So kill her quick and don't kill her rapax assistants!

It's not how big it is - it's how you use it applies to King's Key's too, huh? THanks for the advice.

In the treasure room there's an elevator, and a deposit slip hole to the right.
Now, I belive that this elevator is located near the Royal chamber's gate.
But how the hell do you activate the elevator?

You can't get to the Rapax king's treasure, you can only use deposit slips in his chambers to call up a few items. There is an elevator near Ferro that leads to the Armory, just pull the switch when you have the Armory key.

Morlac - I always kill her assistants, too, and never get in trouble with the Templar unless one or more runs and I kill them in sight of other Templar on the Rift.

As long as you keep them in the temple there is no problem (no witnesses). Freezing them works good until Al Sedexus is gone. Avoid casting Pandemonium, Blind or Fear on them.

EE_W I will take your word for it. I was combining "conventional wisdom" of what others have said about that battle, with my general experience that killing templars even in closed rooms with no witnesses(e.g. the constable) always seems to lower my faction rating. I don't usually go in to kill AS until the battle is pretty well a guaranteed 2-round fight, so I haven't actually had to kill any of her summoned templars...

I think Pikafox means the other elevator that's near the big gates to the royal suites. Does anyone know what that one does? I've never seen it actually move.
