Once you finish Mae'vars thief quest to kill the cowled wizard, and finish the whole entire quest thing, you'll be in heaven. Its better if your a thief too. Ya know what i did, I moved in to every frikin house there. I killed those goons in that house by Valygars house, moved into that Paladin Quest house, moved into the Mage house, and since I'm playing as a thief, I have my guildhouse. I made the mage house Edwin's, the Paladin Quest house Viciona's, Goon house belongs to Jan and Edwin, My guildhouse has my place and Korgans, along with the upstairs. Then I used some cheats to summon some cool items, like gems and stuff, and placed them in appropriate places. Now, my guildhouse looks like a real one, and every house I own, is filled with the right paraphenial.

GOod thinking, Black Isle should of done that, but they didn't, so its safe and sound. And to make it realisitc, I trapped all chests. All you do is put snares down right by the chest, and its so like a trap.

Wow, cool. You take some trouble to roleplay your character to the max I see. I like that, never tried it myself.

Its worth it, and I like to play Baldurs gate as realistic as I can. For instance, sometimes when i get ambushed in the city, I let them get a few attacks and spells in, making it like a real ambush. Kills my guys on low levels though.
